If I wanted to put music over gameplay for comedic purposes, am I allowed to use music by Mozart, Beethoven etc.?

I might be wrong, but isn't the Orchestra/Pianist/Whatever the legitimate right holder when it comes to classical music?

I've just read something about it a little time ago. (Might be wrong aswell hehe)

I've been reached for copyright notices for classical music from the 16 hundreds! Everything has copyright unless it says ROYALTY FREE!

Its best to use music that is made clear on a website that its royalty free, that way you can point to that site later when YouTube might claim it. If you have no proof or source its royalty free, then if they claim it your stuck.

I agree. go with royalty free music or a reputable public domain website.
