Well early access is practically another word for "beta". And if you've ever played a beta game, that means its going to have flaws and bugs. All depending on the game, many can be worth playing. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was early access for a long time, at least on consoles, and it had numerous bugs that made it difficult to enjoy. But I still played it because I liked the game apart from the bugs.
Another one was Ark: Survival Evolved. It was early access for nearly a year or better on Xbox One before officially launching. So its all about how bad you want to play the game.
A years time can also take away chances of creating content for the game IMO.
