Just be yourself, do the things that you like on your channel, don't just make videos about games that'll get you views because you won't be having fun in the end. It's not about who has the most subs, it's about who has the most fun :)

Hmm I thinkm mic placement should be fine then. Isn't shadow play to record gameplay? When you're recording try to keep things in different tracks. You can record the gameplay with shadow play but try to record the commentary with audacity and then sync it up while editing. Different tracks...
Then maybe turn it down a little bit from there also don't talk directly into the mic. You're supposed to talk over it or besides it. When I'm playing the mic is usually a bit lower than my mouth. What do you use to record the commentary audio?
