Today at the Paris Games Week Playstation Conference, Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi has officially revealed the latest Gran Turismo Game, Gran Turismo Sport which will be coming to PS4 in 2016
“The graphics, physics engine and audio are all going to improve significantly,” Yamauchi said of the PS4. “But our ambition is much great than that. The vision [is to] invoke the rebirth of motorsports.”
The game will have two FIA online championships running simultaneously throughout the year. In the Nations Cup, players will be able represent their home country. Whilst in the Manufacturers Cup, players will be driving on behalf of their favorite car manufacturer. Winners will receive real awards alongside real world racing champions.
It was also revealed that Gran Turismo Sport will feature full support for Playstation VR, Sony's VR Headset, when it launches.
No other details have been revealed but a beta was also announced for early 2016.
