On Wednesday, Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Synidicate will include Microtransactions similar to the way it worked in Black Flag.

Microtransactions will let players "save time and accelerate progress" which will alow players with a limited amount of time to "eventually acquire the game's most powerful gear". "The model for Assassin's Creed Syndicate is quite similar to Black Flag, allowing players who do not have time to fully explore our huge game world to still be able to eventually acquire the game's most powerful gear as well as other items", the developer confirmed.

"Rest assured, all of AC Syndicate's content is available without paying anything additional and the game has been balanced such that microtransactions are 100% optional."

No prices of microtransactions have been announced yet but expect there to be a range of prices.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate launches on PS4 and Xbox One on October 23rd and the PC version will be launching later on November 19.

What are your thoughts on microtransactions being in AC Syndicate?

I just started playing today without any research. I got a little disappointed when I found out it did have them.
I guess it goes to show the want now and have now society that is being generated.
I don't want to take away from the game as I am enjoying it. I'm glad it's also an option for people who are willing to go down this path.
I just grew up with the snes where these ideas were impossible to do you had to slog it out. Earn those secrets, search for those banana coins.
Just makes you wonder where games will head in the future, will they all have this if it's successful? I hope not but it will probably head down this path.
Sorry to rant just had to get it off my chest.

this is fine in my eyes if its in the game and some one just wants to buy the gear and not spend the time its up to the person if they don't want to see the game to its full view

I'm kind of torn actually. In one way i've never really liked microtranctions unless they don't affect the game or building up stats... but of course that in in online modes. This seems pretty legit hopefully, anbd as where i will not be usinging it. I suppose giving the player who plays casually to be uber is a good thing, tho note that it could also make the game too easy or not fun after a bit. but my opnion. So final thought I think its kinda cool for some.
